Tailoring
Skill Gain
Here are some very rough estimates on what to make in order
to raise your skill at the various levels. They are based on my experience, and
may not be the absolute fastest path.
- At 0 make Skullcap.
- At 10 make Body Sash.
- At 20 make Plain Dress.
- At 30 make Half Apron.
- At 40 make Long Pants.
- At 45 make Fancy Dress.
- At 50 make Cloak.
- At 60 make Small Pillow.
- At 65 make Medium Pillow.
- At 70 make Large Pillow.
- At 80 make Carpet.
- At 100 make Studded Tunics.
- At 115 make Rat to Serpent Studded Tunics.
- At 120 make Lizard to Necromancer Studded Tunics.
- At 125 make Lava to Dragon Studded Tunics.
Notes and Tips
- In general, make a lot of the items that require lesser cloths.
- Use items to help with your success rate and save cloths, but you'll need at
least 15 points item booster before you'll see any difference. Stop using
the items when your skill reach 75 because they don't make much difference
after that.
- If you are a specialized crafter, move up to the next item for every level
you are at. For example, if you are spec level 2 with 60 skill, you can make
large pillows instead of small pillows. But if your are level 3, you'll still
make large pillows because you can't make spike carpet yet.
- Making carpet can get skill up to 110, but will take more than 100k cloths
to gain 1 point.
- Making normal studded tunics can get skill up to 130, but will take more
than 150k hides to gain 1 point.
